Early Childhood Swift for MS (PLI)

Do you want the best for the children in your care? Do you want to learn more about the implementation of MTSS in early childhood settings and how using data-based decision making improves classroom climate by meeting the needs of all children?  If so, join SWIFT Facilitators at the Mississippi Pre-PLI. There will be another half day continuance, if you are planning to attend the MDE MS Swift Professional Learning Institute Conference.

This interactive training will introduce participants to research-based best practices within a multi-tiered system of support as the primary driver of improved outcomes for children in an early childhood setting. Participants will have an opportunity to focus upon their current practices, learn about tools to improve student success through SWIFT implementation, and plan for their future.

Targeted Audience:  General Education and Special Education Pre-K and Kindergarten Teachers in public schools, Administrators of Pre-K and Kindergarten programs, Early Learning Collaborative Staff, Head Start, child care, and Part C staff

Lunch will be served at the training site.

Attendance Clause
Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 Eligible attendees for this training includes teachers, counselors, and administrators who are employed by a school district or MDE. Unless specifically noted otherwise, external contractors or vendors may not attend. This event is being funded with state and/or federal funds and is being provided for employees of school districts, employees of the Mississippi Department of Education and Department contractors. Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 prohibits governing authorities from making donations. According to the Mississippi Attorney General, once the federal funds are turned over to the state, the rules for the expenditure of state funds apply. Based on the Mississippi law, this event is not being provided for third party vendors or external providers.
