Reach MS: Multi-Tiered System of Supports PBIS Tier 1

REACH MS is pleased to invite you to attend our  MTSS Tier 1 School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) Training.

 

This two-day training will offer the participants the opportunity to begin to build systems necessary to provide Tier 1 Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. These systems will include data collection and analysis, developing prevention strategies, teaching appropriate behavior, evaluating Tier 1 systems, universal screening of behavior and behavioral interventions, and progress monitoring. In addition, the critical elements/systems of PBIS will be aligned to Mississippi's Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) essential components, and Mississippi's MTSS timelines and recommendations will be presented. 

 

It is highly recommended that a school-based team attend the training. The team should include, but is not limited to, school administrators, general education teachers, special educations teachers, behavioral specialists, and family members.
