Reach MS: Universal Design for Learning Guiding Principles
This two-day training will provide the participants with overview of Universal Design for Learning and will focus on an introduction to the three principles of the UDL Guidelines; Engagement, Representation, and Action & Expression. Subtopics will include the cognitive neuroscience and behavior theory that support UDL, how to read the UDL Guidelines, creation of a universally designed virtual or physical classroom, and alignment of UDL Guidelines to the Teacher Growth Rubric.
Participants will create UDL Action Plans for use in the classroom based on each of the 3 UDL Principles
