Elementary Computer Science: Summer Institute

In this two-day training, elementary educators will review the Mississippi-College-and-Career-Readiness Standards for Computer Science to better understand the skills that need to be taught at each grade level.  In addition to the standards, participants will examine cross-curricular connections between computer science and other content areas, explore ways to integrate computer science instruction, mode computer science lessons, and practice coding and robotic skills.
