AIM Pathways

For Administrators--AIM Pathways to Literacy Leadership Cohort 17- Jackson

Pathways to Literacy Leadership is a comprehensive training course to help school leaders advance literacy evidence-based instruction into all classrooms. This course is appropriate for Superintendents,  Assistant Superintendents, Principals, Directors of Special Education and Student Services, and Directors of Curriculum and Instruction.

Commitment includes:

  • Completion of asynchronous pre-knowledge inventory

  • Completion of 10 asynchronous learning sections

  • Attendance and Participation is required at two, daylong in-person training sessions (October 2025 and March 2026)

  • Completion of pre and post-knowledge inventories

  • 12-Month Access to the AIM Pathways Platform so materials can be reviewed, applied and accessed in the classroom when needed


You will be provided approximately an hour to have lunch with your training colleagues on your own.  Information on convenient local eateries will be provided at the training.

Attendance Clause
Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 Eligible attendees for this training includes teachers, counselors, and administrators who are employed by a school district or MDE. Unless specifically noted otherwise, external contractors or vendors may not attend. This event is being funded with state and/or federal funds and is being provided for employees of school districts, employees of the Mississippi Department of Education and Department contractors. Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 prohibits governing authorities from making donations. According to the Mississippi Attorney General, once the federal funds are turned over to the state, the rules for the expenditure of state funds apply. Based on the Mississippi law, this event is not being provided for third party vendors or external providers.
